Our Lou Dog CBD Bites are made in collaboration with the band Sublime to honor the memory of Bradley Nowell and his best friend, Lou Dog. These healthy dog treats are bacon flavored, grain-free, soft-baked, and contain 5mg of full-spectrum CBD oil. We packed these treats with nutritious ingredients including fishmeal, brewer’s yeast, pumpkin, and carrot. Each package weighs 8 ounces (227g) and contains 100mg full-spectrum CBD.

Being from So Cal, we have always been huge Sublime fans. We really wanted to honor the memory of Bradley Nowell and Lou Dog with a special-edition treat, so we were extremely excited when we were given the opportunity to work with Sublime. They have been on board from the very beginning to help develop the concept and brand for Lou Dog CBD Bites using resources from their media archives. Will this product make my dog high?

Absolutely not. Our Grain-Free CBD Bacon soft-baked dog treats do not contain any THC as stated in our third-party potency and purity analysis done by Infinite Chemical Analysis Labs. See link above (or the QR code on the bottom of the bag).

Does this product require refrigeration?

No, but you can if you like. Refrigeration will extend the already long shelf-life of our dog treats but it is not required.

How long does it take for CBD to take effect in dogs?

CBD takes about 30-45 minutes to metabolize in dogs, depending on their size. Metabolically speaking, peanut butter tends to kick in a little faster than treats simply because there are fewer ingredients for your dog to break down first. But there’s no difference in effectiveness between the two. Another example would be if your dog is older and/or experiencing hip issues, you may see results after a week or two of consistent feedings.

What are the side effects of CBD in dogs?

Side effects in dogs are rare and tend to be mild, such as in the case of sleepiness, upset tummies, and stool changes. In other, more rare, cases, your pet might experience dizziness or itchiness. Always consult a veterinarian if you feel your dog has ingested too much CBD.
