Turmeric is an Asian plant in the ginger family and is known to reduce the effects of inflammation. Our Turmeric Crunchy dog treats can aid with joint inflammation and are also high in fiber, vitamins, and minerals. They contain delicious peanut butter and upcycled malted barley sourced from local San Diego craft breweries just like our flagship peanut butter crunchy treats!

Our Turmeric Crunchy dog treats can also aid with inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) in dogs. Dogs that suffer from IBD have symptoms like vomiting, diarrhea, bloating, and nausea. Luckily, curcumin (the active ingredient in turmeric) is a powerful anti-inflammatory agent that also stimulates healthy liver function.

Reducing allergies.

These treats do not contain any wheat, soy, lentils, potato flour, pea flour, corn, alcohol, hops, or artificial preservatives. Some of those ingredients have been found to have a potential dietary link between canine dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM) and dogs (source). Each package weighs 8 ounces (227g), contains about 18 treats, and comes to you in a resealable stand-up pouch to maintain freshness.

Treats are not meals! Our Turmeric Crunchy dog treats are intended for intermittent or supplemental feeding only and are not meant to replace standard meals for your pet. We recommend 2 to 4 treats per day or after meals for a job well done! Always provide plenty of fresh water.

Does this product require refrigeration?

No, but you can if you like. Refrigeration will extend the already long shelf-life of our dog treats but it is not required.

How often should I give Turmeric to my dog?

We recommend 2-4 treats per day with plenty of water. As with any supplemental treat, we recommend speaking with your veterinarian to see if Turmeric is right for your dog.
